Past mistakes

Updated: Jun 18, 2021

Wind clashing on his bare chest didn't help with his anxiety or the depression that he was facing because of the contemplating about his life.

He couldn't help thinking about the mistakes he made, wrong decisions he took in the darkness of whatever excuses he kept throwing at himself for feeling the least bit okay from the sadness that came upon his heart to dwell forever, at least that's how it felt.

It felt like he will never come out of it. He will never be able to smile and live peacefully again as nothing of his crucial past can be changed that had him always choose death, making him blind saying it's life.

Turned around to move back into the room when he felt a little droplet on his neck.

He went back outside in the balcony to feel the drizzle of the rain that just started to sprinkle on his body, scent of the wet leaves and the ground of muddy soil.

Looked up to the sky painted with dark clouds, as if he were not guilty of anything listening to the sky, "hold your head up" as he can now finally stop thinking about his mistakes and his past.

No longer afraid of his future mistakes as nature will always be there to help him forget about them.

Squeezing his eyes, comes back.

It's hard to let go but he knows he must not forget his sins.
